raedice@gmail.com BioI am currently pursuing a Major Sociology and a Minor in Women's Studies and Psychology. Until I graduate I plan to continue working in my current job as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to the Developmentally Disabled here in Columbia, MO.
My current hobbies and interests are reading, reading, reading, manga, anime, reading, composing poems, listening to and singing music and spending time with my pets.
I suffer from Basilar Artery migraines, Fibromyalgia, CFS, arthritis, abdominal migraines, asthma and a few other things.
I find the following things to be the most unique about me and my life. I am a Multiple (DID - formerly MPD). My "wife" (Yes. I am a lesbian.) is also Multiple and so is our girlfriend who lives in the UK and visits often. I laugh to myself that I am a minority six times over. 1. I am African American. 2. I am a woman, 3. I am a lesbian, 4. I am a Pagan. 5. I am Multiple. 6. I am polyamorous. I count each thing as a blessing as these aspects have caused me to be very open-minded, non-judgmental and extremely tolerant of others. Being a survivor of various sexual, mental, emotional, verbal, and physical abuses also adds to my open-mindedness.
And before anyone tells me it is brave of me to share these things about me, I need to say that for me these are just all facts about my life. I feel no shame about any of it or a need to wave a banner or shout what makes me who I am from the mountain tops. We all have difficulties and uniquenesses that have allowed us to become who were are today. Some people just have more hang-ups about talking about those things. I am not one of those people. Take this how you will.
Just about any topic is fair game for blunt and open discussion. Most people are surprised about what interests me and things that don't bother me in the slightest.
